Our Mission

TrueNorth Experience is a family business created in late 2020 by Bruno Panta Ferreira, a conservation biologist with over 10 years of experience in nature conservation, and his wife Joana Silva, a neuroscientist.

It was born out of a desire to allow everyone to explore nature, covering trails by foot or off-road vehicles, following the tracks left by nature in search of the harmony and beauty provided by the contact with the natural world.

Our guides are very experienced and have a high quality scientific training, in order to offer the client both a recreational and learning moment, promoting a better interaction between the client and the environment, enriching their experience to the fullest!

The Founders

Bruno is an outdoor guy, and he loves to show the world the wild nature of his region. An offroad enthusiast, his experience in trails and offroad driving will make your experience richer. Joana is a wildlife addict that loves trekking and camping.

The Offroader

Lovingly known as the "Grey Wolf", our 2001 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is both an extremely capable offroader and a confortable vehicle that allows us to provide you an extremely comfortable and safe experience.

Environmental Responsibility

Carbon Offset

At the end of every year we fund the planting of trees to help offset our carbon emissions through "Associação Plantar uma Árvore".

Vehicle Maintenance

A well maintained vehicle is not only safer, but also less polluting. We pride ourselves in keeping Grey Wolf in tip-top shape, both for you and the environment.

Reuse and Recycle

We do our best to avoid using disposable items, but when we must, we make sure they are recyclable. This phillosophy is applied to everything we do.
