You can book your tour directly on the chosen experience tab, where you’ll have a form to fill. 

You can also call us or send us an email with your request. 

We accept all major credit cards, like Visa and Mastercard through our PayPal platform. We also accept Bank transfer, Revolut, MBWay and MB Reference (as far as we know, MB Way and MB Reference only work for portuguese credit/debit cards).

 

For our hikes, we accept MBWay, Revolut and bank transfer.

Every booking must be paid in advance. You can either pay the full booking or a 30% deposit, and the remaining value can be paid in cash at the meeting point.

We will fully refund your payment if you cancel at least a week in advance. Up to 72h, we will retain the amount that equals half of the 30% deposit and refund the remaining. After this, we retain the whole 30% deposit. However, we understand that sometimes bad things happen, so if we manage to book somebody else for your time slot, we will issue a full refund.

If TrueNorth Experience is responsible for the cancelation, we will either re-book your tour to a date that pleases you OR issue a full refund.

For our hikes, the value is paid in full and in advance. The cancellation policy remains the same as for tours, but we allow you to pass your booking  to another person if you need.

Depending on the tour of your choice, you will be informed of the meeting point when you contact us to make your reservation. This may vary as we try to accommodate your location and factor it into the tour.
For services including pick up and drop off, we will naturally meet you wherever you desire.

Our full day tours include pick-up and drop-off service from selected destinations like Braga, Guimarães, Barcelos, Vila Verde, Vila Nova de Famalicão, among others. From Porto a one time fee of 50€ is applied . Just let us know where you are and we will do our best to offer the service free of charge. For more distant locations a small fee may apply, but our compromise is that it will always be one that only covers the operating cost.

We can accommodate children that travel safely in a front facing chair (group 1) and are at least 3 years old. We may accept smaller children if you can provide your own chair, and keep in mind that our vehicle does NOT have Isofix. Be aware that with very little children we may need to re-arrange the tour.


The maximum age is defined by law as the age that is covered by our mandatory insurance, 90 years old.

We will gladly customize our tours to better fit your desires, as long as it sits within our practical and legal limits. Just let us know what you need.
